Terms
What taking part means, what buying something means, and what we will and will not do. Written to be read rather than to be survived.
Last updated 3 September 2026. These terms have not yet had their final review by the operator, and they will be dated again when they do.
These terms cover the use of this site. My Town Vibe is operated by Hartlore LLC. Using the site means you accept them.
Taking part
Taking part is free. Businesses enter free and win free. We never charge anyone to be nominated, to be a finalist, or to win.
Who can nominate and vote
This is a program for the people who live in a county, and we ask you to take part in the places you actually know. We do not verify where you live. All we ask for is an email address, and we take you at your word about the rest.
One nomination, one vote
You may nominate once in each category. Once voting opens you may vote once in each category every 24 hours. Your email address is confirmed before anything you do counts.
Fair play
Nominees may ask people to vote for them. Nominees may not offer payment, discounts, prizes, or anything else of value in exchange for a vote.
Disqualification
We may remove votes, remove a nominee, or close an account where we believe the rules have been broken. That decision rests with us and it is final.
Results
A published result is a record of what a count showed on the day it closed. We may correct a result if we find a genuine error, and we will say what changed. We do not change one because somebody is unhappy with it.
Buying something
Prices are shown before you pay and include nothing hidden. Shipping and any tax are shown at checkout. Nothing is charged until you confirm. Every item is made to order, so shipping and returns is part of these terms and says what happens if an order arrives damaged, wrong, or not at all.
Buying something has no effect on a nomination, a vote, a finalist place, or a result. If a price on this site is obviously wrong, we may cancel the order and refund it rather than honor a mistake.
Free material
Finalists and winners get a website badge and a press release at no charge. They stay free, they are not part of any purchase, and you may use them for as long as the result they refer to stands. Use them to say what you actually placed, in the year you placed it.
Names and logos
A business name appears on this site because residents named it, which is ordinary factual reference and not a claim on the name. If you send us artwork to put on something you ordered, you are telling us you have the right to use it, and you keep it. My Town Vibe, this site and the material we produce belong to Hartlore LLC.
What we do not promise
The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it is available without interruption or free of error, and we are not responsible for a loss beyond what you paid us. Nothing here takes away a right you have under consumer law that cannot be signed away.
Where this is governed
Placeholder. The governing state for these terms has not been set. It is the state Hartlore LLC is formed in, and it appears here once configured.
Changes
We may change these terms. The last-updated date at the top of the page changes when we do, and a change does not apply backwards to an order already placed.
