Privacy

We ask for as little as we can, we sell nothing about anyone, and this page says plainly what happens to what we do hold.

The short version: we ask for as little as we can, we do not sell anything about you, and the only outside companies that see your details are the ones that have to in order to email you, take a payment, or print and post a thing you bought.

What we ask for

An email address. That is the whole account. We do not ask for your name, your address, or your phone number to nominate or to vote.

What we send you

Your sign-in link, a note when finalists are named in a category you took part in, and the results when they are in. If you buy something, a confirmation for that order. Nothing else. We do not send marketing mail and we do not sell or share your address.

What is public

Nomination and vote totals are public. Who nominated or voted for whom is not. Your email address never appears on the site.

If you buy something

A purchase needs more than an email address: a name, a shipping address, and a payment. We never see or store your card number. Our payment processor handles the card and tells us only that the payment succeeded, along with the email and shipping address you gave it. We pass your name and shipping address to the print partner that makes and posts the item, because there is no way to send you a parcel without doing that. They use it for your order and nothing else.

Businesses

We do not give out contact details for a nominated business. If you want a business to know you named them, tell them yourself. A business that accepts a finalist place gives us its own email address at that point, and we use it for that program and nothing else.

Who else sees your details

Only these, only for the job named, and none of them for advertising:

• Our email provider, to deliver the messages listed above.
• Our payment processor, to take a payment and handle refunds.
• Our print partners, to make and post an item you ordered. They receive your name and shipping address and nothing more.
• Our hosting and network providers, which carry the site itself and keep ordinary server logs.

Cookies

One cookie, to keep you signed in. There is no advertising cookie here, no tracking pixel, and no third-party analytics script. Nothing follows you to another site.

How long we keep things

Results are a public record of a program that ran, so nominations, votes and winner pages remain on this site. Your account and your email address stay until you ask us to delete them. Order records are kept as long as the law requires us to keep records of a sale.

Deleting your account

Ask and we will delete it, along with the email address attached to it. Votes already counted stay counted, because removing them would change a published result, but nothing left behind identifies you. Get in touch.

Children

This site is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them. If you believe a child has made an account here, tell us and we will remove it.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, the last-updated date at the top of the page changes with it.
